An international banking group is looking for a qualified and experienced

Financial Controller
Vice - President

 
based in Geneva.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the finance team (8 staff members).
  • Ensure core financial accounting and control activity is delivered to a high standard with month end close, timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
  • Ensure cost control policies, systems and procedures are fit for purpose and that there is a strong cost control culture across the bank.
  • Responsibility for Accounts Payable Function, including ensuring correct treatment of FX and VAT and control of travel and expense policy.
  • Production of management accounts/reports for management committees and boards.
  • Support Swiss infrastructure and business management liaising effectively with other areas of the bank.

Profile:
  • Qualified Accountant with several years experience in the Financial Services Industry or a leading Accountancy Firm.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Sound knowledge of Swiss regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Relevant experience in a Swiss Private Banking or Wealth management business.
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
