Product Specialist Fixed Income

 
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Business Development you will provide support to the institutional sales force and the Private Banking teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the existing fixed income teams to ensure an up to date knowledge on their respective process, portfolio positions and strategic changes.
  • Become the central point of expertise for fixed income products.
  • Communicate and train all sales forces and private banking teams on fixed income funds managed at the bank.
  • Travel to branch offices and create a routine to join client meetings once a month in each office and spend time with each sales force on performance reviews.
  • Monitor the competition in terms of performance, product innovation and positionning.
  • Participation in the design of marketing/reporting documents related to fixed income products.
  • Proof read RFP and other questionnaires written on fixed income capabilities.

Profile:
  • University degree or equivalent education.
  • Great knowledge of the fixed income industry thanks to multiple years of experience in a portfolio management team or specialized fixed income sales position.
  • Ability to understand and put in perspective the macro economic vision of the bank.
  • Great listening skills to communicate with investors and understand the constraints they operate under.
  • Writing capability with respect to fixed income products and environment (articles, press release, client driven letters, etc.).
  • Efficient with Excel, PowerPoint and other MS related applications.
  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English (German knowledge would be a plus).
  • Main contacts: External distributors, Private Bankers and institutional cients, Consultans, Rating agencies as well as third party providers.
  • Idealy 30 - 40 years old.
